Meet the Bees

Meet the Bees Presentation

We start off your company’s beekeeping journey with an introduction to your new branded beehive. We bring your new branded beehive to your company to show your company what the hive will look like (before we house your new colony). This is a great opportunity for your marketing team to take photos of your hive and promote your CSR activity online.

We also bring in some bees in a sealed observation hive to give you a glimpse of the bees at work in a glass hive.

Finally, to keep things so sweet, we finish the demonstration with some honey tasting where participants can taste a variety of honey.

Our Process

Branded Beehive

We handmake your beehive at our workshop and it will feature your company logo on the front. Your new hive will be a national type hive and made from treated Irish cedar containing all necessary equipment and accessories for your colony to prosper.

Beekeeping managed service

Many companies don’t have the time, resources, or expertise required to manage a beehive. That’s where we come in! We take complete management of your beehive, giving your business a great beekeeping experience without any of the hassles. To make things a little sweeter, we even include your annual honey harvest, jarring and delivery into this service.

Branded Honey

What better gift to staff and clients than a jar of honey from your company bees! As part of our managed service, we bottle, brand and deliver the honey harvested from your bees. We take care to ensure that your bees have more than enough to feed on and prosper into the next season.

Our Bees

We are passionate about only rearing native Irish honey bees (apis mellifera) and are opposed to the importations and propagation of non-native sub-species.

The Native Irish Honey Bee is a strain of the Dark European Honey Bee which was once native to most of Europe north of the Alps which is now relatively scarce in mainland Europe. We are very proud of our involvement with the Native Irish Honey Bee Society in their efforts of conservation, study, improvement & re-introduction of the Native Irish Honey Bee throughout Ireland.
